This segment will be magnetized to customer wish, either North pole on outer (20,25) or inner radius (17,75)
NOTE! The magnet has a phosphated surface, this means that the magnet is not surface treated and corrodes quickly. Therefore, it is important that the magnet is well protected and sealed during application!
This is a rare treatment and is done where the magnet is in e.g. lubrication/oily systems, where oil dissolves other surface treatments (e.g. motor/pump). The oil then protects the magnet against corrosion. The magnet must be kept in vacuum throughout the process from fabrication to assembly to be insulated against oxygen.
